香港教育劇場論壇 Hong Kong Drama / Theatre and Education Forum (TEFO)

TEFO was established in 2002 with the aim to promote practices of applied theatre in different sectors of society. As the only member of The International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) of the region, TEFO represents Hong Kong to disseminate local practices internationally. Since 2008/2009, TEFO became a registered Section 88 charity and is financially supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

We have 4 major working areas: 1) Pilot Projects and Productions, 2) Applied Theatre Research Institute, 3) Applied Theatre Professional Incubator and 4) Networking & Conferences. All the work contributed to these areas provides applied theatre practitioners, educators, and social workers with theatrical tools to re-imagine live interactive experiences with their respective communities.

We believe that through theatre, we can rehearse new and deeper relationships with ourselves, others, society and the world, empowering each individual and societies as a whole to enact transformation.
