FOCUS

FOCUS is a welcoming community of parents, educators, and medical professionals working together to positively influence the quality of education and support available to mainstream students with ADHD or specific learning differences like dyslexia. For over 30 years, FOCUS has worked to develop a solid reputation as a trusted provider of educational programming, professional resource referrals, and a supportive network for the parents and professionals in our community. Our position of trust is founded upon our core value of rigorously ensuring the information we share is accurate, timely, and evidence-based, our unique access to professional expertise, and a culture of sharing best practices with the professional community. From 2019 to 2020 FOCUS delivered 1,714 hours of educational programming to 879 direct beneficiaries. Statistically, post-program surveys show a high degree of satisfaction amongst beneficiaries.  Between 2019 and 2020 FOCUS offered 22 roundtables. In 2020, the first year we collated post-program survey data, 96% of respondents stated their overall objectives were met or exceeded" and 97% agreed or strongly agreed speaker content was useful to their personal situation.
