Assemble hygiene kits for the Toiletries Project
Description:
The Amber Foundation invites you to support their “The Toiletries Project”, a key initiative dedicated to providing essential hygiene items to vulnerable and less resourced communities across Hong Kong.
Access to basic toiletries is fundamental to health, yet it remains a challenge for many. This project fills that gap by collecting, assembling, and distributing vital hygiene kits to those in looking for support, including women in shelters, domestic workers, individuals living on the streets, elderly, and refugee communities. The foundation utilises donated items, such as airline amenity kits and hotel toiletries, to maximize resources and minimize waste.
By volunteering, you’ll play a direct role in fostering health, dignity, and a sense of care for our beneficiaries. Your participation also helps create a fun environment on the day!
Volunteer Roles
Remarks:
-Volunteers aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian (for individual sign-ups) or an adult supervisor (for group registrations). To register a minor, the guardian must first sign up for the activity themselves; once registered, please email hohk@handsonhongkong.org to sign the child up for the session (Please ensure there is still an available spot for the child before emailing us.).
-Volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members must also register and sign up separately.
