Accompany students at a CNY Carnival in Tsing Yi
Description: Out-of-class cultural experiences can help primary students build confidence, express themselves, and feel connected to their community. For students at Tsing Yi Trade Association Primary School, the “Chinese Culture Day – Galloping into Chinese New Year” celebration will be a lively opportunity to showcase their talents, learn more about Chinese traditions, and enjoy the festive spirit together.
Volunteers will support students as they rotate between Chinese New Year–themed game and activity booths, creating a warm and encouraging environment for them to participate, try new things, and have fun. Your presence will help students engage more deeply with Chinese culture, interact with peers in a positive way, and experience a joyful day of celebration on campus.
Volunteer Roles:
All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members who wish to join are warmly welcome—please ensure that each person registers and signs up separately.

Volunteer Roles:
- Introduce simple booth games and activities to students in an engaging, reassuring way, using clear Cantonese instructions.
- Accompany and encourage students from Primary 1 to Primary 6 as they take part in the activities, offering gentle guidance and support when needed.
- Help at the game booths with basic setup, crowd flow, and pack-down to keep each activity running smoothly throughout the event.
All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members who wish to join are warmly welcome—please ensure that each person registers and signs up separately.
