Help Out at Project Home Works

Description : Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong’s "Project Home Works" aims to improve the living conditions of low-income families, the elderly, and people with disabilities by renovating their homes. Through these efforts, the project delivers love and care, striving to achieve the vision of "a world where everyone has a decent place to live."  

Habitat for Humanity partners with various non-profit organizations and social workers in Hong Kong to match volunteers with low-income families across different districts. By mobilizing volunteers, the project helps enhance the living environments and home safety of those in need.

Volunteer Role:
-Renovating / repairing ceilings and walls  
-Cleaning and tidying living spaces  
*All repair work is guided by professional technicians*  

Remarks :
-Wear Closed-toe shoes (mandatory)  
- Comfortable clothing that also can get paint-stained 
- Long pants (to protect legs) 
- Hat and towel (optional)
- Can prepare snacks and water (do not share food with residents to avoid allergy risks)
- Secure valuables in a waist bag (optional)

All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members must also register and sign up separately.
