Empowerment Volunteer Training: Inspiring Confidence & Leadership in Youth
Description:
Join the one-day training provided by Women in Sports Empowered Hong Kong, exclusively for volunteers who want to gain the skills needed to empower young girls and boys (12-14 years old school students). Volunteers will learn how to facilitate workshops focused on building confidence, self-expression, and leadership skills. After completing the training, they will confirm dates for the school sessions and check the availability of trained volunteers. Sign up now to make a lasting impact!
Volunteer Roles:
After this training, volunteers may be asked to:
- Assist facilitators with small group activities
- Encourage students (aged 12-14) to actively participate in discussions
- Clarify instructions and explain activities when needed
- Provide supportive and nurturing help to students
The subsequent school sessions will be scheduled according to school availability and will take place during school hours, with a duration of 65 to 90 minutes (excluding travel time).
Remarks:
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
