Positivity in action: Visit residents of subdivided flats
Nestled within the bustling heart of Sham Shui Po lies a hidden reality: countless families grappling with life’s formidable challenges within the confines of tiny, overcrowded subdivided flats. Due to the limited space and resources, children living in subdivided flats may not be given equal opportunities and resources. This programme aims to address these issues by inviting volunteers to visit subdivided flats in Sham Shui Po and distribute essentials. Volunteers will be involved from the initial briefing and distributing of supplies, to visiting the households and participating in post-visit discussions. During the visit, volunteers will interact with parents and children to understand their needs, and hopefully give them encouragement to keep growing and learning.
- Number of volunteers: 30
- Number of beneficiaries: 30 families
- Location: 4/F Posco Building, 165 Un Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong
