Helping Hands | Food Assistance Program: South Tuen Mun (Sam Shing Estate)
Description: Since June 2016, YWAM Tuen Mun has been going every Friday to hand out food and goods to a local public housing estate through their Helping Hands initiative. Their beneficiaries are approximately 100 elderly-at-risk and low-income families and over time, they have seen good relationships built with the residents.
Volunteer roles:

- Distribute food and goods to low-income families and elderly-at-risk at a local public housing estate in Tuen Mun.
- Make special announcements to the recipients.
- Chat and cultivate relationships with the recipients, which is an excellent chance for one-on-one conversations and a better understanding of their situation.
