Outing with Students with Intellectual Disabilities to learn Chinese Culture

Description
This activity involves residents visiting the Maritime Museum, aiming to enhance their understanding of Chinese history and culture. Afterwards, they will ride the Ferris wheel to enjoy the stunning views of Victoria Harbour, giving them a fresh perspective and experience of appreciating Hong Kong's landscape. Following that, they will take a stroll along the Central and Western District Promenade to enjoy the scenery along the way. Later, they will go to a Chinese restaurant for a meal, offering them to experience Chinese culinary culture.

Volunteer role
1. Volunteers will need to accompany students to enrich students’ understanding of Chinese culture.

2. Volunteers will accompany students to eat lunch (Volunteers need pay for their own lunch)


Service Location: Maritime Museum, Central and Western District Promenade, Island East Sports Centre

Gathering location: G/F of Sai Wan Ho Hing Tung Estate Tung Lam Court


All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
