Rediscover timeless wisdoms of traditional herbs
Program Description:
For centuries, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has offered a holistic approach to wellness for all. To promote this invaluable heritage, this program invites volunteers to join young minds on a fascinating journey of discovery into the world of TCM. Volunteers will work alongside primary students, guided by experienced TCM practitioners, to learn about common herbs used in traditional practices. They will discover the unique properties of each herb, their traditional uses, and how they can be combined to create therapeutic remedies. Together, volunteers and students will participate in a hands-on workshop to create their own herbal compression balls using a blend of aromatic and soothing herbs. They will learn the traditional techniques of grinding, blending, and shaping the herbs, infusing each step with care and intention. This interactive experience will provide a unique opportunity to connect with nature, learn about ancient healing traditions, and create personalized wellness tools.
