Help at Interest Class with Children with Hearing Impairments or SEN

活動簡介：為培養聽障及其他殘疾類別兒童的興趣，香港聾人褔利促進會 家長資源中心逢星期六會準備一系列的興趣班組，以發展兒童的潛能、擴闊視野及舒展身心。

義工會與6-10名2-5歲聽障或其他殘疾類別幼兒接觸，部分幼兒或有特殊教育需要，義工需協助幼兒投入班組及理解班組內容，班組有不同的活動，如中英文語言學習、畫畫、跳舞等等。

義工角色：
義工會協助老師支援有聽障及／或特殊教育需要的學生參與課程，並在整個活動過程中增強他們的信心和興趣。
義工需幫忙佈置場地，如移動枱櫈。

所有參加者須為牽手‧香港會員。如果您想與親友一同參加此活動，他們須先註冊成為牽手‧香港會員，然後報名參加此活動。


Description: In order to cultivate the interests of children with hearing impairment and other disabilities, the Hong Kong Deaf Society for the Deaf Parents Resource Center prepares a series of interest classes every Saturday to develop children’s potential, broaden their horizons, and stretch their bodies and minds.

Volunteers will come into contact with 6-10 children aged 2-5 who have hearing-impairments or other disabilities. Some of those children may have special educational needs. Volunteers need to help the children join the class and understand the content. The class has different activities, such as Chinese and English language learning. , painting, dancing and so on.

Volunteer roles:
Volunteers will assist the teacher to facilitate the children to engage in the session, and ehance their confidence and interest throughout the activity.
Volunteers will help set up the venue, including moving the tables and chairs.

All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member joining you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
